It wasn’t even a long-shot. Louisville Label was the hands down favorite of Old 502 Winery when it came to printing the label for this year’s Kentucky Derby Festival.
Approximately 12,500 rose wine labels have been printed for the downtown-made wine, “Run for the Rosé,” the official wine of the Kentucky Derby Festival. Old 502 Winery considers this wine, “a semi-sweet rose” that is “exceedingly food-friendly and easy to swallow.”
As the exclusive printer of Old 502 Winery for more than five years, Louisville Label also printed an oval label for Old 502 and the Kentucky Derby Festival in 2012 that was affixed to their Bourbon Barrel red wine bottles.
Old 502 promises that this limited edition “Run for the Rosé” wine will be an odds-on favorite. Be sure to snag your bottle soon because “it won’t last furlong,” according to the label. Bottles of this wine should be available throughout the year. Louisville Label is proud to team up with Old 502 Winery and this year’s Kentucky Derby Festival for the win.
