Who is Little Mount Lavender?
In 2017, Little Mount Lavender began researching alternative crops for their next venture. The more they researched, the more they began to love lavender. They were motivated by the power of lavender, which has a long history of being a medicinal remedy. They moved to Taylorsville, Kentucky, and began to plant Their first fields. In the beginning, they planned to grow and sell the lavender straight from the farm. As they continued to invest in their fields, they very quickly realized that lavender would be their life and began a path to creating their own products made from the very lavender they were growing.
In 2018 they opened their first shop of 300 sq feet in Shelbyville. They very quickly realized the potential of Lavender and expanded their footprint in their building until we ended up growing 10-fold in their footprint. In 2021 they relocated their store to a historic landmark in Simpsonville, KY. As they have grown, several things have become very important to them:
- Their current store houses their lavender-based products, which include pretty much anything you can imagine.
- They also host several dozen local artisans and their products.
- They have expanded to include a cafe with a lavender-based menu and healthy eating.
- They have added almost a thousand plants onsite of the store.
With all of that said, they very proudly give back to several charities, which they keep posted in the store. They have adopted a policy of paying their associates until it hurts and giving back until it hurts.
Appealing to Your Senses
Lavender in and of itself offers an incredible fragrance that will bring people in from far and wide. Our goal at Louisville Label was to add a visual appeal as well. With tons of different products that offer various solutions, it was important to differentiate the labels while still keeping the branding consistent. The glossy finish offers an eye-catching element for any passing shopper who’s looking for their next favorite product.
